Their self-titled EP ‘Skandemic’ marked a turning point for Porkpie, showcasing sharp songwriting, powerful brass arrangements, and the band’s signature ability to fuse social bite with irresistible rhythm. Building on that momentum, 2025 saw the release of their acclaimed second album ‘9 On the Tiles’, a record that broadened their sound while staying true to the ska roots that first inspired them. The album’s standout single ‘Bones’ became a breakout success and was picked up as a favourite by Craig Charles on BBC Radio 6 Music, earning the band new listeners across the UK and beyond.
